Tradition: Originating in China, like during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD) & gained prominence in the Ming Dynasty. Originally a luxury for royalty, it was perfected in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, using a delicate, multi-day, scenting process where green tea leaves absorb the fragrance of fresh jasmine blossoms.
